Where to begin...my name is Jake. I was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia but have lived on the other side of the country. I have one brother who is a year younger and a sister who came in later when I was around 15 years of age. I made a lot of friends and saw a lot of great places. My family and I eventually moved our way back home though, and I met up with old friends, family, and made more friends as well.

My biggest passion is art. I love drawing in my sketchbook or using my tablet to create digital drawings. I'm hoping someday I can make a career doing what I love.

Reading is one of my greatest hobbies, I love reading, mainly fantasy, action, adventure and suspense. Or just reading things on the internet in general, just to devour information on random topics I want to know more about.

Gaming and computers are my other main interests, I love getting lost in the interactive worlds and stories and even art that is games. And being introduced to computers at a young age, I have always been pretty adept at using new technology.

On the side of these favorite things of mine, I like to take pictures. Not exactly professionally, but I just want to have a record of memories I can always look back to, or studying details that I can later use for implementing into my art. (I love examining nature pictures, the detail is so immense, but so commonly overlooked.)

Music is basically what keeps me sane, or insane, I'm happy either way. I like lots of different kinds, whether it be pop, classical, rock, techno, I'm not terribly picky. Except rap. Keep it away please.

I love animals, I've lived with them practically my whole life. I'm mostly a dog person. However I currently have a cat named Kari, whom I'm rather fond of.

I am currently living with the love of my life, whom I will have been with for a year this January, and look forward to spending the rest of my life with him. ♥
